ALPHA v. 0.2.07

I usually refrain from pointing out the effects of changes on the story structure depicted above, but this update is an absolute holocaust for event passages. Every preexisting nickname event has been collapsed down to a single huge passage with code to apply any nickname for which a slave qualifies. This will make adding new nicknames much easier, so much so that I am now willing to take suggestions. If you have nickname suggestions, please post them in the comments here.

Certain types of rough treatment will now add minor, cosmetic injuries like bruises. These will heal naturally.

This patch also adds makeup and nails. The player's ability to amuse themselves with My Slave Dress-Up has advanced to a new level. The new variables to support this mean that pre-0.2.07 saves are no longer compatible.

Download: Mega. Unfortunately, the new nickname code has some bugs which will not be fixed until 0.2.08.
Tip jar: Patreon.

0.2.07 Patch Notes:
  • Total recode of nicknames. Nickname events will be less common, but will consider all nickname-worthy elements of a slave.
  • Nicknames for submissive, well-endowed, amputee, humiliation fetishist, and pregnant slaves.
  • The Auto Salon, which includes several options transferred from the studio and several new options.
  • Buffed the rents the PC receives from arcology tenants to make upgrades less of a pointless money pit. The change is conservative and rents may be increased again.
  • Two new random events.
  • Minor cosmetic injuries.
  • Negative quirks now impede slave breaking; to balance this, fixing them is now easier.
  • More descriptions.
  • More FCNN.
  • Bugfixes.

  1. Any chance the Room Description and FCNN New Feed could be made minimizable separately?

  2. First off, great work, as always.

"Bankroll snatch & grab" event slave isn't recognized by the game as already having a shaved head. Slave acquisition screen gives "drag her off to have her head shaved" as an option; the resulting passage treats the slave as if she has hair. There's no visible difference in the slave's appearance on the slave details screen afterwards. I'm guessing this has to do with a custom head description (about the tattoo barcode) that the game recognizes as "hair" instead of "bald".

    1. The "max shemale" content setting is still overwriting the "female tenant in debt" event, so that the slave being offered is a shemale despite the event text claiming she's female.

    2. As I pointed out last time, and as the known bugs page lists, content settings do not restrict random events and will not for some time yet.

    3. Sorry, I missed that last time. I think the way I would prefer to see this conflict resolved is with the random event content overriding the start screen selection, because fertile female slaves are an incredibly rare find on full shemale content already.

    4. Hmm. Did you change the health loss mechanics? I still see the red text in the weekly updates (for breast/butt/penis growth pills) but the slaves' health seems to be barely affected, if at all.

Also, a suggestion. I just hit a "two rebellious slaves" event which featured a mother-daughter pair (from the "addicted tenant" event). Would it be possible to have the event reference familial ties rather than just have the slaves involved "forget their friendship and try to outdo each other"?

    5. Red text for injuries also denotes loss of health.

  3. Good update.

Got this bug when a nickname event came up: Maria $situationDesc You begin to overhear your other slaves refer to her as hung Maria.

  4. Okay, let's check out this new stuff.

Nickname event, "Yukiko has taken a lot of dick. Enough dick that her overused holes really show the mileage. She can take the largest cock without a sigh. You begin to overhear your other slaves refer to her as amp Yukiko." She was a virgin at the time, so I assume this is a bug with calling up the amputee nicknames.

Nickname event, "Error: set: bad evaluation: Expected ')' Layla is a Free Cities sex slave, which makes her a girl. The pretension is hard to maintain at times, however, as her massive member swings around, gets in the way, sticks out of clothing, and blows huge loads. Half the fun of using her butt is making her absurd dick slap around. It's an obvious target for a nickname, especially since more than one slave has personal experience with how she feels inside them. You begin to overhear your other slaves refer to her as preg Layla." I assume it's related to the issue I noted above where a pregnant slave nicknames are calling up the wrong passages and not actually giving a proper nickname.

Never even got the submissive, well-endowed, or humiliation nicknames, though that might be chalked down to luck. Still, with how messed up the first two new nickname types were, it doesn't hurt to check.

Can't seem to get slaves to gain the humiliation fetish through the smart piercing, even though it only takes several weeks for the other settings to alter a slaves sexuality.

    1. Unfortunately, I've altered the code in such a way that makes doing a 0.2.07.1 practically impossible. These will have to wait for tomorrow.

  5. From a bug pointed out by an especially charming Anon on /d/: There's 'set $qualifiedNicknames.push("white")' at the top of the qualifications check in 'RE nickname', which is causing slaves of any race to get the nicknames for white slaves.

  6. Uploaded the wrong version, fixed it hours ago. Current upload should not contain this error.

  7. so, for the blog sidebar, why can't the pateron link just link directly to the pateron page rather than the blog post? is there a reason that it links to the blog post?

    1. Because I very much want people to repeatedly see my disclaimers about more Patreon =/= more work on FC.

    2. i thought the pateron page description would've been enough. i get what you mean though, some people don't listen the first time, so seeing those disclaimers twice might make them listen more.

  8. Is it possible to add the ability to style a slave's pubic hair in the salon?

    1. Yeah, I can add that to the list. It's a bit more of a pain because it will require some sort of regrowth or merkin option so people can go from Brazilian to bush rather than just waxing.

    2. I think an owner of a wealthy arcology can use laser removal to wipe away any hair he does not want to be on his slaves, as well as transplant it to make it grow in any length and pattern he desires.

  9. Again, i'm writing about the implants: i can get to the adaptive butt implants, but the only way to get the breast ones is still the suregery addict event. after the event it reads:

"Her udders have grown so large that she can barely walk. Her tits dominate her entire frame. She has fillable breast implants, which is obvious from the roundness of her fake tits. Her nipples are large and puffy."

If the way to get them normally is the same of the butt ones, there is something wrong, because it always makes them "as large as she can physically support" before being able to substitute them.

  10. Is there a specific flag for sterility? If you edit the pre-made slaves, giving a dick to a normal slave does not trigger "She is sterile", but natural hermaphordites seem to always have that.

    1. Sterility and hormones are actually both handled as values of .preg, since that variable would otherwise be wasted for sterile slaves. .preg = -3 means sterile and on female hormones; preg = -2 is sterile; preg = -1 is fertile but on contraceptives.

    2. "Negative quirks now impede slave breaking; to balance this, fixing them is now easier."

I have not played since 2.04... but isn't fixing negative quirks just a simple 1 week session of fixing negative quirks anyways? Even some of em have events where you can fix it.
